Pageant follows the bedazzled lives of three children and their dysfunctional families in their quest for the crown. The turmoil of shaping their routines, shaping their hair and shaping the flipper for their teeth. And let's not forget the spray-on tans. And when the big day finally arrives the anguish of meeting the competition, impressing the judges, and not having a breakdown onstage.
